Design

Maestrini quality and technology.

All of our products are designed and manufactured using modern CAD-CAM systems.
Maestrini designs its products using state-of-the-art CAD-CAM systems. The design is focused on the durability and dependability of the finished product, through general overdimensioning and increased thickness in the areas under the most intense strain.
During the industrialization phase and before the start of serial production, every new item undergoes testing conditions markedly more severe than those it shall likely have to endure in real life.

Technical features

The company does not make use of external contractors, but manufactures directly the whole production. This way, it is possible to keep under control every single item and guarantee an excellent quality.
The wide range of products offered requires different types of machine tools, which is why Maestrini, in order to guarantee quality and technology at the highest level, has automatic CNC bar lathes for small parts, CNC transfer machines for medium-sized ones, and CNC machining centers, again with CNC control, for large parts.
There is no shortage of automatic multi-spindles for large production runs and normal CNC lathes for smaller production batches.
Our articles can be obtained from bar, hot stamped or cast semifinished products, but never from diecasting.

Materials

Maestrini specializes in the processing of copper alloys, especially bronze, brass, and CR anti-corrosion (anti-dezincification) brass, and always guarantees the highest quality and advanced technology.
All the copper alloys used for our products comply with the relevant European EN standards, and those used for DVGW certified articles for gas and drinking water installations also comply with the stricter requirements set by the certification body.

The following alloys are used for the production of our articles:

BRASS

  • CW617N
  • CB753S
  • CB754S

CR BRASS

  • CW602N
  • CB770S

BRONZE

  • CC491K

Other alloys are available upon request.

Threads

Our products are usually threaded according to UNI EN 10226-1 standard, with taper external threads and parallel internal threads, where tight joints are made on the threads. Some articles, for obvious technical reasons, are threaded according to UNI ISO 228/1, with both internal and external parallel threads.
Upon request, the articles can be threaded according to different standards.
