Timeline<\/span><\/h1>\n

1964<\/strong><\/p>\n

Year of founding, the company is artisan it is proposed on the Piedmont market as a manufacturer of brass threaded fittings, the range is very small and the location is in Quarona<\/a>, the covered area is only 150 square meters.<\/p>\n

1980<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company is well known and sells all over Italy through representative agents, during this year the firm moves to a new factory, twice as large and directly owned, in nearby Borgosesia. Purchase of the first transfer machine.<\/p>\n

1986<\/strong><\/p>\n

A small extension of 200sqm is built for a total area of 500sqm, in these years the company begins to produce a series of fittings intended for the recreational boating industry expanding the production with high quality Fittings Marine Accessories Valves Sea Intakes, it is still a company with strong craftsmanship characteristics, producing a very good product in a decent range.<\/p>\n

1990<\/strong><\/p>\n

A milestone in the company’s history. The founder Giulio Maestrini avails himself of the help of his children Ivan and Manuela, the company develops a marketing structure and starts exporting its products abroad, the production speeds up with the use of highly productive automatic machines, and the first CNC lathe is bought.<\/p>\n

1991<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ivan introduces a CAD\/CAM system and the company becomes self-sufficient in the manufacture of the production tools.<\/p>\n

1996<\/strong><\/p>\n

A further extension of 300 square metres brings the total covered surface to 800 sqm, but the increased activity soon makes the factory inadequate again.<\/p>\n

2000<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maestrini finally acquires a suitable new factory of 4,000 square metres back in Quarona, where the activity can grow unimpeded.<\/p>\n

2003<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maestrini production is ISO 9001<\/a> certified<\/p>\n

2008<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks to the new offices building the covered surface becomes over 6,000 square metres, the company has more than 20 employees, a high degree of automation and exports over 50% of its output.<\/p>\n

2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annexion of a 1,000 sqm warehouse to the company’s compound brings the total covered surface to 7,000 square metres.<\/p>\n

2011<\/strong><\/p>\n

To improve the company’s image and enhance the value of the premises, a new external paving is laid,
\ntogether with the installation of a weighing platform for lorries up to 45 tonnes.
\nAs a contribute to emissions containment a 3,500 sqm photo-voltaic generating plant capable of 200 kW peak output is installed on the roof.<\/p>\n

2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purchase of an annealing furnace for the heat treament of corrosion resistant CR brass.<\/p>\n

2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company gets two important product certifications: the DVGW certificate for brass and CR brass fittings in drinking water and gas installations, and RINA MAC type approval for bronze flanged water strainers.<\/p>\n

2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purchase of a spectrometer for the analysis of the incoming copper alloys and the issue of conformity certificates for the production batches according to EN 10204 (type 3.1).<\/p>\n

2017<\/strong><\/p>\n

An obsolete warehouse within the company’s compound undergoes a radical restructuring aimed at the creation of the new 1,500 sqm finished products warehouse.<\/p>\n

2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vittoria arrives on the market, the first ball valve entirely designed and manufactured by Maestrini. This product is specifically conceived for nautical use and is characterized by several unique construction features, such as the use of bronze for all components in contact with water and the option of a polymer ball for enhanced resistance to chemical agents. The project incorporates a high degree of innovation, with two patented technical solutions.
\nThe reorganization of the production spaces, made possible by the construction of the new warehouse, allows for the installation of a new state-of-the-art transfer machine, offering high automation and productivity. The company also launches the IT system for production planning and control, which is then gradually extended to encompass all the machinery in the plant.<\/p>\n

2022<\/strong><\/p>\n

The dezincification-resistant brass through-hulls obtain Lloyd\u2019s Register Type Approval in compliance with the new EN ISO 9093:2021 standard. A second transfer machine is put into operation alongside the one installed three years earlier, also connected to the IT system, which now makes it possible to control and plan the production of the entire plant.<\/p>\n

2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company takes a further step towards the internalization of its production cycle by acquiring a metal pressing plant in Quarona, useful both for internal production and external supply.<\/p>\n

2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The year of the 60th anniversary begins with Lloyd\u2019s Register Type Approval (EN ISO 9093:2021) being granted also for bronze through-hulls and the Vittoria hull valve. In fact, Maestrini\u2019s entire range of nautical products can now boast recognized certifications: RINA for filters and Lloyd\u2019s Register for valves and through-hulls.
